One of the best fringe benefits of being a projectionist was being able to horde the trailers and trade them with hardcore collectors. I remember that I traded the trailers for the last two STAR WARS movies to a collector friend so he could complete his collection. In return I got some good stuff, the gem of the bunch being the trailer for the drive-in classic PRIVATE DUTY NURSES (from the director of MIAMI BLUES).
Yeah, we have a similar setup where I work, with a lot of trailers from the past several years sitting around as well as a few film prints (Nadja and The Wedding Singer among them) forgotten by their distributors.
