ah, nice to read more of your open minded film tastes: Who else would have Altman and a Zucker Bros penned films on the same list. Anyway, I'd say Airplane is my favorite of theirs (Zucker bros, not Altman)

I'd agree with you about Airplane. 1977 was an odd year - eight masterpieces, then two slighter, more personal favorites.

A year I've barely touched on... from your list I've only seen Annie Hall and Star Wars. The only other film of note I've seen from 1977 is probably That Obscure Object of Desire
